"My friend actually asked me about my daughter’s current school learning experiences after her recent transition from government school to Astra IGCSE Pathway.
Through the public speaking event (organised by Astra as part of the learning module of current term), I’m genuinely surprised that my daughter can actually articulate so well in her English Presentation as opposed to how she was before this, and that is her after attended Astra’s IGCSE Pathway for only less than 1 year."
"I believe that every child in their secondary years is like a blank canvas ready to be painted with their expressions. It is crucial to have an avenue or a platform for them to learn how to express themselves, which provides opportunities for personal growth and future career development in any industry."

Typically, there are 3 ways to Join Us in this journey to complete Secondary Years:
1st: Transition Straight from Primary Years (UASA)
This is the most direct approach to join our IGCSE Pathway.
For Normal Pathway: Students will go through 5 Years of Learning with Us to Complete the Entire Secondary Years
For Express Pathway: Students will have the opportunity to Expedite their IGCSE Learning Progress with us to a period as short as 3 Years, meeting the minimum qualifying threshold set by Astra (Terms and Conditions Applied)
2nd: Transition Into Astra IGCSE Programme Midway
The entry year is decided based on Entry Assessment Results and English Proficiency Level. High Achievers will be assigned into year group equivalent or above their current level of performance (subject to intake availability and internal arrangement)
3rd: Transition into IGCSE Year 11
Qualified students will enter our current Year 11 Exam Year Batch depending on availability and level of proficiency on subject matters. Our Education Consultant will advice on the exam time and subject arrangements that best suit your child's current academic status and goals
There are 2 Steps for Enrolment:
1. Entry Assessment:
For Students: Astra will provide a Complementary Entry Assessment Test for your child to better understand their current academic proficiency level. This is to thoroughly examine if your child is a good fit for Astra and to help determine which year group is more suited for them to ease into a new environment
For Parents: Astra's Education Consultant will assist you in your enquiries about how our IGCSE Pathway helps your child with their Secondary Education and Learning Challenges. We will take this opportunity to understand all stakeholders better and to formulate ways to journey with us in the most efficient manner
2. Trial Session:
Once everyone's goals are aligned, we will proceed to the Next Best Step: Diving into our Trial Week tester sessions. If your child finds the Trial Week enjoyable and matches with their learning styles, we will then Proceed to Enrolment for Astra IGCSE Pathway directly
Definitely! Since Inception, We've got students who transitioned from different secondary curricula such as SPM (now known as KBSM), UEC or even from other international schools and homeschools and enrolled into our IGCSE Pathway Programme
Upon Enrolment, every student will go through our rigorous entry assessments to help us identify your child's learning attributes, like the Strengths, Growth Potentials, Academic Goals and Readiness to transition into Secondary British Curriculum to see if they are a good fit to journey with us
If your child meets all our entry requirements, they will go through Trial Week tester sessions with us to gain first-hand learning experience in a new environment. If everything checks out, we will proceed with the enrolment process to get started with us!
It's Important to set the Preferred University Selection and Courses as early as possible (best if its before entry of course)
for greater flexibility of choice and course alternatives!
To keep it simple, if we know which university courses your child is aiming for (medicine/engineering/law/business...etc) beforehand, and whether or not if your child has a dream university/country to pursue their desired tertiary courses, we will be able to advice you better on what are the subject combinations to take or the most efficient approach to complete secondary years with us!
Generally with IGCSE Certification, your child can apply to Most of the Private Local Colleges and Selected Local National University as a Private Student. Since Cambridge IGCSE Certification is Recognised Worldwide, application for admission to any of the Overseas Colleges/Universities will be easier and the country of selection is certainly broader. We've students who graduated with us and were successfully admitted into colleges/universities in countries like Australia, UK, United States, Singapore and many more - subject to entry requirements & supporting tests and documents
